Washington Nationals General Manager Jim Bowden Resigned this morning.
His replacement has not been named.

How do you think this impacts the chances of Ryan Zimmerman signing a long term deal before the season opener?
i don't think it affects it at all honestly. i really think both sides want to see what happenes this year.
if Zim has a monster year, he can demand more than Markakis/Pedroia money, and if he is just "pretty good", well, the Nats will get their guy for a few million less.
both sides think they can still "win" this.
