The defending World Champs (and their laid-back, easy-going fans) invade Nationals Park for a three-game series, starting tonight at 7:05 pm.

In roster news, the five September call-ups are indeed in D.C. and should be added to the roster today. According to, to make room for Logan Kensing and Zack Segovia on the 40-man roster, Scott Olsen was moved to the 60-day D.L. and Jorge Sosa was designated for assignment, essentially ending his short stint with the Nats.

Ross Detwiler, Marco Estrada and Ian Desmond were all on the 40-man to begin with.

Ah, September.
